PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT: Call for Entries

Rainbeau Ridge, in partnership with the Community Center of Northern Westchester, is proud to present a photographic exhibition of the seasons as celebrated on the farm.

Rainbeau Ridge, a sustainable agriculture farm in Bedford Hills, New York, invites photographers and enthusiasts to take photos at the farm that capture some form of ‘celebrating the seasons’ and to submit them for juried selection.

Entrant/Exhibit Summary:

• Photographs will be selected from submitted photos taken at Rainbeau Ridge*
• Photographs will be accepted for juried selection from December 8th-12th, 2008
• Entrants will be notified of their selection for the exhibit by January 5th, 2009
• Entrants will need to have their work framed and wired and brought to the Katonah Village Library between February 5th & 7th, 2009
• Opening reception for the exhibit will be on February 8th, 2009 at the Library and will include a wine & cheese reception and silent auction, from 3-6pm
• Exhibit will be presented from February 8th through the 28th
• Pieces sold at the exhibit will include a commission of 33% which will be donated to the Community Center of Northern Westchester
• Fee to enter is $45 for up to 3 pieces (and can be paid by credit card or by check) 
• Works in the exhibit must be picked up from the Library on February 28th, from 9am-5pm
• Awards will be given in several categories, with winners selected by the judges
• Grand Prize is Rainbeau Ridge CAP Membership, plus $100 on account ($200 value)
• Photos may be taken at Rainbeau Ridge on specified dates, beginning with May 4th, Sheep Shearing, from 1-4pm
