The kids' programs at Rainbeau Ridge provide a unique experience for kids, age 2 (Roots, Mommy & Me), 3- & 4-year olds (Buds) and K through 3rd grades (Sprouts), to explore and appreciate and make connections to nature through hands-on exploration on the farm, art projects and in the kitchen.
Our Somethin's Cookin' program offers 4th-6th graders the opportunity to get hands-on experience in the kitchen while shopping for ingredients in the garden and making the farm-to-table connection for themselves (scroll down for more information).
The programs provide the opportunity for participants to engage in age-appropriate, hands-on activities with animals, natural materials and food and to do fun farm chores. Activities are theme-based, with the day's learning experience taking multiple forms. We meet once a week over a multi-week session so that our participants can see growth among animals, in the garden and even themselves.

We now offer even more options for your kids to have unmatched hands-on experiences at Rainbeau Ridge as described below and
in more detail in each of the program's links.

Note: We recognize that at times people may have a sibling who is home from school or another program, or who have a relative or friend who wants to visit with you, however, we can only accomodate those enrolled in the program and do not permit other guests to come to the class. We expect participants to adhere to this policy as we cannot divert from the policy and hope that we will not have to be in the uncomfortable position of asking additional attendees to leave.

Philosophy
The programs we offer at Rainbeau Ridge provide a unique experience for kids, age 2 through 3rd grade, to explore and appreciate and make connections to nature through hands-on exploration on the farm, art projects and in the kitchen. Each series provides the opportunity for participants to engage in seasonally inspired, age-appropriate, hands-on activities with animals, natural materials and food and to do fun farm chores. Activities are theme-based, with the day's learning experience taking multiple forms.
We meet once a week over a 10-week session, so that our participants can see growth among animals, in the garden and even themselves.
Special Roots Note!
The Roots program is designed for one adult per Root. You are welcome to switch the adult who somes with your child, but space permits only adult per Root.
Special Buds Note!
Our Buds program is a drop-off program. We have experienced many situations where 3-year olds who have never been in a drop-off program before have a hard time separating, so please take this into account as you consider registering your 3-year old. We do not have a gradual separation schedule as some programs do and we do not allow parents to stay with their child. If you have any questions, please contact
