Here's the slideshow from this week's Fall Roots . . . Giving the Garden a Blanket!

Roots worked hard in the garden.  They first loosened up the soil and then added buckets and buckets of compost to enrich the soil.  Last, they covered the beds with a wonderful blanket of leaves.  It takes a lot of work to make healthy soil!  Roots also learned about different kinds of birds that visit us and need us to help them find food over the winter.  Roots made pine cone bird feeders and had bird cookes for snack.
